Material Recovery Associate / Yard Hand

Brannon Industrial Group (BIG), a trusted leader in waste and recycling, is hiring a Material Recovery Associate / Yard Hand for our BVR Waste & Recycling facility in College Station, TX. This is a full-time, hands-on outdoor position ideal for someone dependable, safety-focused, and ready to be part of a hardworking operations team.
Job Summary
The Material Recovery Associate / Yard Hand will help move, organize, load, unload, and maintain materials throughout the yard. This role requires physical labor, attention to safety, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the yard
- Assist with loading and unloading items
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
- Perform general yard maintenance and labor tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work as part of a team to keep operations running efficiently
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to work independently and stay on task
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Steel toe boots and appropriate work attire required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Background check required for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in landscaping, general labor, recycling, waste management, construction, warehouse, or industrial environments
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday
