Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Conduct floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain optimal floor appearance and durability.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers with precision and safety.
- Handle chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for mixing, applying, and disposing of cleaning chemicals like floor cleaning chemicals and other custodial solutions.
- Execute manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with familiarity in janitorial procedures and environmental services.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience handling chemical agents used in cleaning processes with attention to safety guidelines.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach.
