Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bottler to join our growing creamery. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bottling equipment to ensure the efficient and high-quality packaging of our products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage production, a strong commitment to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional products while maintaining strict adherence to food safety and quality assurance protocols.
Duties
- Operate bottling machinery with precision, ensuring proper filling, capping, labeling, and packaging of beverages.
- Conduct routine equipment troubleshooting and perform minor mechanical adjustments to optimize machine performance.
- Follow sanitation procedures diligently to maintain a clean production environment in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Handle raw materials and finished products safely, ensuring proper manual handling techniques.
- Monitor production lines for quality assurance, inspecting bottles for defects, proper labeling, and correct fill levels.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including chemical handling and safe operation of machinery and material handling equipment.
- Assist in warehouse operations by organizing inventory, managing supplies, and supporting packaging processes as needed.
- Support team leadership by following safety standards in production and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations within a beverage or food manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, mechanical knowledge, and machine operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with HACCP, CGMP, safety standards in production, and industrial chemical handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality checks.
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to lead or support team efforts effectively.
- Background in beverage manufacturing facility operations or food & beverage production is preferred.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence and quality assurance within a fast-paced environment.
