Job Title: HVAC Property Maintenance Tech
Location: Traveling Maintenance Technician
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Maintenance Technician for a multifamily property. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the working condition of the property, complete unit turns, complete work orders, and providing exceptional service to our residents.
Experience (preferred or required):
- Strong understanding of basic household maintenance – landscaping, painting, dry wall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC
- Required to replace, repair and install HVAC units on property
- Ability to perform basic household repairs
- Requires reliable transportation, tools
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization and customers/vendors
- Organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive role, where tasks must be addressed when received.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Docs an MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving and completing necessary work orders
- Purchasing required supplies for jobs and record transactions appropriately
- Working with our property management software (Appfolio) and corporate account at Home Depot, Lowe’s, and HD Supply
- Timely communication with the Property Manager
- Timely completion of job duties
- Accurate reporting of work orders, receipts, hours, & completion photos
- Attend business meetings and trainings as required
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Position Requirements and Skills:
- Ability to perform accurate data entry within specified time frames
- Ability to perform tasks in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
