Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom framing solutions that meet precise specifications and enhance the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and using various hand and power tools will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine framing requirements and specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal framing components with precision using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
- Construct wall frames, door openings, window casings, and other structural elements for residential remodeling or restoration projects.
- Ensure all framing work complies with safety standards, including power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials.
- Assist with other carpentry tasks such as plastering, caulking, stucco application, rebar installation, fixture installation, and door hanging as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized job site while adhering to project timelines.
- Support restoration industry projects by providing expert framing solutions that meet specific structural or aesthetic requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and residential carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of wood construction materials, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, nail guns; and woodworking machines safely and effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed construction plans.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on heavy lifting, assembly, remodeling, or restoration projects.
- Familiarity with rebar installation, plastering techniques, stucco application, caulking methods, fixture installation, and door hanging.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces as required by project scope.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
