Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests at our aquatic facility in Poughkeepsie. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to provide excellent guest services. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies.
Looking for Monday through Sunday - 11AM-7PM, weather permitting. Part Time hours available as well.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide immediate first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment for cleanliness and safety. Testing of PH and Chlorine.
- Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Provide excellent guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and rescue individuals in distress.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification is required - Professional resecures and first aid
- CPR and First Aid certification are essential.
- Strong swimming abilities with a good understanding of water safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor for guest interactions.
