- Provide a superior customer experience by meeting and exceeding expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and competency while providing a welcoming environment for all customers
- Operate the scale to purchase and sell materials, and account for all inventory into and out of the facility
- Track each transaction to completion
- Answer phone calls
- Update material pricing on the scale with guidance from Corporate
- Communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing
- Must demonstrate technical proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Operate scale to weigh trucks in-bound and out-bound and distribute tickets to truck drivers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, truck drivers, and yard manager on shipping schedules
- Operate scale software for ticket reporting and distribution to accounts payable.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
