The Cellar is a refined, intimate wine bar in Pasadena designed to feel like a living wine library. We focus on thoughtful service, curated wines from around the world, and creating a calm, elevated environment where guests can explore, learn, and enjoy at their own pace. We are looking for passionate wine professionals who value hospitality as much as knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive table service
- Guide guests through our wine list with confidence and enthusiasm
- Make thoughtful wine recommendations based on guest preferences
- Open and serve wine tableside with proper technique
- Accurately input orders and manage tabs using POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations
- Communicate effectively with management and bar staff
- Uphold all service, safety, and alcohol compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Wine knowledge required (formal certifications a plus, not required)
- Prior server and/or sommelier experience preferred
- Genuine passion for wine and hospitality
- Professional, calm, and polished demeanor
- Strong communication and guest-engagement skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in a quiet, upscale service environment

Pay: $18.25 - $30.00 per hour
