We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. Job Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior
- Follow all relevant health and safety protocols, including HIPAA guidelines
- Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and procedures
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, including heavy lifting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of senior care, childcare, or home community care practices
- Familiarity with social work principles is a plus
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
