Overview:
PBS Professional Building Services is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Equipment Maintenance Technician to assist with maintenance of company equipment and provide general warehouse support. This position is ideal for someone who is knowledgeable and enjoys hands-on mechanical work and is looking for a consistent Part-time schedule.
Schedule:
Part-time only, approximately 20–25 hours per week
Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on commercial cleaning equipment, including vacuums, scrubbers, and buffers
- Complete routine vehicle upkeep, such as oil changes and minor maintenance tasks
- Assist with warehouse organization, equipment storage, and inventory tracking
- Support laundry and preparation of equipment as needed
- Occasionally travel locally to assist with equipment maintenance at nearby locations
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with equipment or small engine maintenance
- Ability to use common hand tools and perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Ability to work independently and maintain organized work areas
- Valid driver’s license is required for occasional local travel
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to approximately 40–50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform hands-on mechanical work in a warehouse setting
Work Environment:
- Indoor warehouse environment
- Work with commercial cleaning and maintenance equipment: vacuums, scrubber/buffer machines
