Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining zones, and kitchen equipment
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Serve customers with friendly attitude, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
- Uphold food safety protocols by practicing proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Assist in bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining overall sanitation of the restaurant environment
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros enhances your ability to serve efficiently
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours effectively
- Customer service background in retail or food industry settings demonstrates your ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices is highly valued
