Vision Systems, Inc. (VSI) is looking to hire a Systems Administrator and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to manage our full suite of IT infrastructure and maintain our classified information system. VSI leverages a variety of operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac) on our servers and workstations. Maintaining compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-53 while continuously integrating cutting-edge technology to support VSI’s research and development work in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence is the primary challenge of this position. Ability to maintain a US DoD security clearance and obtain an IAT Level II certification are required.
Technologies
Familiarity with most of the following technologies is strongly preferred, although expertise in all is not required so long as you are willing and able to learn on the job!
- Microsoft Active Directory (Both Local AD and Azure AD)
- Windows Administration
- Linux Administration (Fedora / RHEL)
- Mac Administration
- Network infrastructure
- Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Containerization (Docker, Singularity, Kubernetes)
- Multi-factor authentication (PIV smartcards, TOTP, etc.)
- Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure)
- Puppet (configuration management)
- Splunk (logging and analysis)
- Gitlab server administration, including CI/CD
Software Development
Although the primary job responsibility is administration of VSI’s IT infrastructure, we anticipate opportunities for supporting software development, testing, and deployment as well. If you are interested in growing into a software development role in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence, this job provides that opportunity. Prior experience with C++ and/or Python is not required but is advantageous.
Compensation
Competitive Compensation based on experience.
Other requirements
This job is restricted to US Citizens and Permanent Residents willing and able to obtain a US DoD security clearance.
Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Providence, RI area to fulfill on-site responsibilities.
