Strong presence. Steady mind. Real impact.
This is field leadership for a security program that genuinely matters.
THE MISSION
Calidad Services has been selected to build a modernized security program for one of Stockton’s most important community service organizations — a campus that serves the homeless, families in transitional housing, and individuals in crisis. This is not a typical security assignment.
Every person you encounter on this campus is someone’s family member — a parent, a child, a sibling — going through one of the hardest chapters of their life. You’ll respond to overdoses, behavioral health crises, fights, medical emergencies, trespass situations, and the kind of high-stress moments most security officers never see. If you can stay calm, lead with compassion, and make the right call under pressure, this is your assignment.
WHO WE ARE
Calidad is a security and technology company — not a body shop. We run our own Security Operations Centers, deploy AI video analytics, and build modern security programs that work. As a Tactical Officer at Calidad, you’re backed by real technology, real leadership, and a real career path.
Our culture is built on five core values — C.A.P.A.M.
- Community — We protect the people and places we serve like family
- Accountability — We own outcomes, never excuses
- Positivity — We bring energy and standards to every shift
- Adaptability — We thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Mentality — Championship mentality. We deeply care about each other and the mission we serve
THE ROLE — TACTICAL OFFICER
You are the boots-on-the-ground field presence for the program — mobile, alert, professional. You work side-by-side with a SOC Command Officer in our on-site command center: they monitor and dispatch, you respond and lead in the field. You also document everything — because what doesn’t get reported, didn’t happen.
Every shift, you will:
- Conduct mobile patrol across the campus — by foot and by patrol vehicle
- Respond to incidents and priority calls dispatched from the SOC — from routine trespass to medical emergencies, drug overdoses, behavioral health crises, fights, and high-intensity situations most officers never face
- De-escalate situations using trauma-informed, professional techniques — your voice and presence are your most important tools
- Recognize the signs of overdose and call for medical response immediately — your awareness can save lives
- Provide escort support, incident stabilization, and field oversight
- Coordinate directly with the SOC Command Officer on every dispatch
- Use modern security software — TrackTik for digital patrol, checkpoint scanning, and incident reporting on a mobile device
- Write detailed, professional incident reports for every situation — clear, complete, accurate, and submitted before end of shift
- Document every encounter with photos, narratives, and timeline detail — your reports protect the program and the people in it
- Reinforce shift leadership and represent Calidad with pride and professionalism
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card in good standing
- Strong written communication — you must be able to write clear, detailed, professional incident reports without grammar or clarity issues
- Comfort with mobile technology — ability to use security software platforms (TrackTik or similar) for patrols, checkpoints, and reporting
- De-escalation skills — ability to talk through tense, emotional, or volatile situations without escalating them
- Composure under pressure — ability to stay calm during overdoses, fights, mental health crises, and other high-intensity incidents
- Physical fitness and ability to walk/patrol for full 8-hour shifts
- Comfort working with vulnerable populations including individuals in crisis, under the influence, or experiencing mental health episodes
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Clean driving record
Strongly Preferred:
- Trauma-informed care or de-escalation training certification (CPI, MAB, etc.)
- Experience working in shelter, hospital, behavioral health, or transit security environments
- Military, law enforcement, EMS, or corrections background
- Crisis intervention training (CIT) or mental health first aid
- Narcan / naloxone administration training
- CPR / First Aid / AED certified
- Prior experience using TrackTik, Silvertrac, or similar guard management platforms
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
- Dedicated to one campus — you build relationships, learn the environment, and become an expert
- Paired with a SOC Command Officer every shift — you’re never operating without backup
- You’re backed by real technology — AI cameras, digital dispatch, modern radios, real reporting tools
- You’re part of a professional team that takes pride in the standard — not a generic guard service
- Real career path — Calidad promotes from within. Today’s Tactical Officer is tomorrow’s SOC Operator, Field Supervisor, or Operations Lead
