Experienced candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside multiple dermatology providers while developing advanced clinical, surgical, and leadership skills. This role offers a clear path toward a Senior Medical Assistant position within our growing practice.

We are also seeking recent college graduates interested in gaining meaningful, hands-on clinical experience before pursuing medical school, PA school, nursing, or other healthcare careers as part of our Student MA Intern Fellowship Program. A minimum commitment of 24 months of full-time employment is required for recent graduates to be considered.
This position offers exposure to:
- Medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology
- Clinical procedures and minor surgery
- Electronic medical documentation and medical scribing
- Direct provider mentorship
- Potential participation in clinical research
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Medical Assistant, you will:
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, minor surgeries and cosmetics
- Obtain and update medical histories and vital signs
- Document patient encounters, scribe visits, and complete EMR documentation
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Administer medications as directed by providers
- Educate patients and assist with triage
- Coordinate patient flow while anticipating provider needs
- Process laboratory specimens and diagnostic results
- Upload records and manage electronic documentation
- Send electronic prescriptions and letters
- Complete clinical logs and other administrative responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Experienced Candidates
- Medical Assistant experience preferred (4+ years ideal)
- Dermatology, cosmetic, or surgical experience a plus
- Medical scribing experience preferred
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR)
Recent Graduates
- Bachelor's degree (or recent graduate) with plans to pursue a healthcare profession
- Strong interest in gaining clinical experience
- Ability to commit to at least 24 months of full-time employment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
