American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a hospital-based NICU.

NICU setting within a hospital-based respiratory therapy unit

Neonatal patient population

Night shift: 7p–7:30a, 4x12-hour schedule
-
Rotating weekend requirement: every other or every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

No on-call required

Epic EMR experience required
-
Current RRT credential required
-
Active state license required if applicable

Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NRP preferred

Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required

Skills in adult critical care, ED, patient transports, direct intubation/extubation, nasal airway placement and suctioning, tracheostomy, ARDS, aspiration, bronchoscopy, COVID, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, medication administration, aerosol mask, nebulizers, oxygen therapy, pulmonary function, and ventilator management

Experience with neonatal/pediatric equipment and procedures preferred but not required

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
