As a Dental Assistant you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, assisting in a variety of dental procedures and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including exams, restorative work, and cosmetic treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
- Take high-quality X-rays and assist with imaging as necessary.
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatments.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive care techniques.
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate, up-to-date charts.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining patient communication.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant certification or equivalent (required).
- Experience in dental assisting (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and knowledge of dental terminology.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make patients feel at ease.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end dental environment.
