Synergy Women's Health Care is a small, established gynecology practice in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to providing personalized, comprehensive care that empowers women to achieve optimal health. We are seeking a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our collaborative team.
This is a unique opportunity for an NP who is interested in Women's Health and Functional Medicine and would like to develop their expertise while working closely with an experienced Functional Medicine physician.
The Opportunity
This position is not limited to Functional Medicine. Our new provider will care for patients across our full gynecology population, including routine and preventive women's health care, problem-focused visits, and office-based procedures.
A key component of the position will be supporting Dr. Michelle Sang, our Functional Medicine-certified physician, with follow-up care for patients in her growing Functional Medicine practice. This provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical Functional Medicine skills while working directly with an experienced physician.
Depending on your experience and interests, you will have opportunities to:
- Provide comprehensive women's health care, including well-woman exams and problem visits
- Manage follow-up visits for Functional Medicine patients
- Develop your understanding of advanced Functional Medicine testing and interpretation
- Learn directly from Dr. Sang and collaborate on patient care
- Perform appropriate office-based procedures
- Participate in the continued development and growth of our Functional Medicine practice model
- Build a patient panel across both traditional and integrative women's health care
Functional Medicine experience is preferred, but we are also interested in motivated providers who have a strong interest in learning this approach to care. The ability to learn, collaborate, and develop within a small practice environment is just as important to us as previous FM experience.

About You
We are looking for a provider who is:
- Board-certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
- Experienced in women's health or strongly interested in developing a career in women's health
- Interested in Functional Medicine and integrative approaches to patient care
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a small practice
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing personalized patient care
- Eager to learn and grow professionally
Experienced providers are encouraged to apply, and highly motivated new graduates with a strong interest in Women's Health and Functional Medicine will also be considered.
