Job Responsibilities:
- Candidates will install and/or service security, IT services, and computer repair including to but not limited to:
- Card Access Control Systems.
- IP and Analog Surveillance Systems.
- Integrated Security Systems.
- Perform moves/adds/changes of low voltage systems.
- PC/Mac Troubleshoot and Repair.
- IT/Networking Service and Repair.
- Completing and processing required paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Some night and weekend work depending on installation schedule (which candidate will be ultimately responsible for).
- Upsell/additional sales and service in store and on site.
- Work to bring business in when installation schedule is light.
- Follow instructions with little to no supervision.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication.
- Many jobs require out of the box troubleshooting and the ability to adapt and overcome obstacles and challenges.
Ideal candidate:
- Will have at least 2 years of installation background/experience, 3 years preferred.
- Experience installing security alarm, access control, CCTV, and/or Fire systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Professional appearance and disposition, especially when working with or at clients.
- Unwavering moral and ethical standards.
- Basic understanding of installation including reading blueprints, installing support structures, wiring devices including: motion detectors, mag-locks, door strikes, cameras, glass breaks, card readers, fire alarm, IP and analog cameras, and other peripheral devices, etc. (as required).
- Work on and from ladders, sky lifts, scaffolding, etc.
- Run low voltage wiring as required.
- Ability to communicate products and services clearly and answer questions as necessary about project scope and terms and conditions.
- Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), computer programs and apps, tools and equipment required to complete installation projects.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Ability to climb ladder, work in enclosed (tight) spaces, lift and carry 50 lbs., and stand/sit for long periods of time (as required).
- NICET I or II certification and/or alarm installation certification a plus.
- Must be able to understand and follow all safety and security guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required, further education preferred.

Location:
Salary: $13.00 to $17.00 /hour
