We are seeking to add a driven teacher with a passion for educating and uplifting children to our team.
This teacher should be a child focused individual with knowledge of classroom management and an ability to facilitate an educational environment that promotes individual growth and learning. An ideal candidate should be familiar with and willing to administer common screening tools, and they will be responsible for making observations to identify any gaps in students' academic or social performance.
Teachers experienced with any age group (Infant, Toddlers, Preschool, Pre-K) encouraged to apply.
Child Care Teacher responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and enriching learning environment for all children in your care.
- Observe and log children's growth and development on a daily basis and for regular child screenings.
- Utilize Procare for daily tracking of children's activities, food intake, diapering, and napping habits.
- Assist lead teacher in completion of daily activities and classroom duties.
- Follow state and center guidelines for classroom management and care of children.
- Participate in regular professional development and required teacher trainings.
- Assist in the completion of routine cleaning tasks throughout the center.
- Occasionally fill in other classrooms when the need arises.
Pay is based on education and experience.
Qualifications for Early Childhood Education Teacher:
- High School or GED required
- CDA or Higher Education (Preferred)
- Medical Statement for Employment
- Pass BCI/FBI Background check
- CPL Level 2
