Duties
- Perform a variety of cosmetology services including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic laser treatments to meet client needs.
- Deliver professional nail care services such as manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and pedicures while maintaining strict sanitation and disinfection procedures.
- Apply color theory principles to create customized hair coloring solutions that complement each client’s features.
- Conduct advanced nail techniques like nail art and dermabrasion to provide innovative options for clients.
- Offer additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and skin care services to enhance overall client satisfaction.
- Educate clients on proper nail care, hair styling tips, and product recommendations; upsell retail products effectively to increase sales.
- Follow salon safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with state regulations and salon policies.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their preferences and deliver personalized service that exceeds expectations.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse services performed.
- Knowledge of color theory, disinfection procedures, sanitation practices, and salon safety protocols.
- Skilled in nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and other advanced nail techniques.
- Proficiency in hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic laser treatments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating positive client experiences.
- Ability to upsell retail products through effective client consultation and product knowledge.
- Familiarity with retail math principles to assist in sales goals achievement.
