Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Social Worker to join our mental health day treatment program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic groups for individuals in need of sturctured mental health support.
Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- Experience in mental health treatment, group facilitation, and service planning.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of C.A.R.F principles and standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented enviroment.
- Knowledge of trauma informed care and evidence-based practices
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to remain calm and use good judgment in difficult situations
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Excellent written and communication skills for preparing reports
- Excelled verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the community and its resources
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychosocial assessments to determine client needs and strengths.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplonary teams.
- Facilitate structured mental health day treatment groups, providing therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with families, caregivers, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care.
