The Role
The Practice Manager is both a leader and business partner in the hospital. You’ll oversee daily operations, finances, and team management, while also ensuring a positive, Fear Free workplace where doctors and staff can do their best work. Your role is about more than keeping things running smoothly, it’s about building a culture where people come first, pets receive personalized care, and the practice thrives.
What You’ll Do
-Lead with Fear Free: Model and reinforce a culture where pets and people feel safe, supported, and respected.
-Oversee daily business operations, scheduling, contracts, maintenance, and inventory.
-Drive client experience by promoting a client-centered environment and resolving issues
promptly and positively.
-Hire, manage, and develop support staff; conduct reviews and coach team members for growth.
-Partner with doctors and owners on performance, goal setting, and long-term hospital success.
-Manage financial processes including budgeting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and KPIs.
-Promote teamwork and positive relationships across the hospital; lead check-ins, 1:1s, and team engagement initiatives.
-Ensure compliance with PetVet365 standards and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
-Fear Free Certification (training provided if not already certified).
-Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation preferred.
-Minimum 3 years in veterinary practice or equivalent leadership experience.
-Strong financial acumen (budgeting, financial reporting).
-Exceptional communication, coaching, and team management skills.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
