American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CCU/LTAC position requiring 2+ years of current LTAC experience with trach, vent, and drip management skills.

Work in the CCU unit of a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital
-
Patient ratios of 1:5-6 typical for LTAC setting
-
Care for patients requiring tracheostomy and ventilator management
-
Manage patients on drips as part of daily care
-
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Work every other weekend (EOW)
-
Floating required in rotation with staff based on clinical experience and unit policies
-
Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of current LTAC experience required

Proficiency with tracheostomy and ventilator management required

Experience managing patients on drips required

Provide critical care nursing to LTAC patients requiring complex respiratory and hemodynamic support

Weekend and holiday coverage required in rotation with staff

Floating orientation provided in accordance with Joint Commission standards

Time off requests must be approved prior to start and are discouraged during initial assignment weeks
