Job Description
At Rock N Roll Sushi, our kitchen is looking for skilled kitchen staff members to join our team. You will be tasked with doing your part to help our restaurant operate as efficiently and effectively as possible by collaborating with other team members. This will require you to be adaptable, hard-working, and willing to take directions to make sure our kitchen has what it needs to do its best work. This position requires you to be able to stand for long periods of time. Existing knowledge of food safety procedures is not required but is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring all the ingredients are fresh.
Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients.
Cook-to-order and plate menu items ensuring presentation adheres to the RNR Sushi brand standards.
Be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Adhere to all food safety and health guidelines.
Adhere to the prep list and ensure all items are stocked.
Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
Following shared daily cleaning schedules.
Job Requirements
Minimum age of 16 years old.
Ability to stand for a long working period.
Existing knowledge of food safety procedures preferred, but not required.
Good communication skills.
Great time management skills.
Flexible availability during business hours, including weekends and evenings.
Ability to work efficiently with all the kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in collaboration with the team members.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
