Job Summary
We are seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer for a 6-month contract opportunity in Tempe, AZ. This hybrid role is ideal for a BIM professional with strong Revit experience and a background in telecommunications systems design for construction, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects.
The Telecommunications BIM Designer will support the development of accurate 3D BIM models, coordinated 2D construction drawings, and integrated design documentation for low-voltage and communications systems. This opportunity offers the chance to work with collaborative project teams, supportive technical leadership, and multidisciplinary professionals focused on delivering high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for telecommunications, communications, and low-voltage systems using Revit.
- Produce accurate 2D construction drawings, layouts, details, and documentation for project deliverables.
- Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and construction teams.
- Support BIM coordination, clash detection, and model review activities using tools such as Navisworks.
- Incorporate design changes, redlines, field updates, and project standards into construction documents.
- Assist with the layout and coordination of wiring, cabling, pathways, and communication system components.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $30 to $40 per hour.
