REQUIRED: License for FUNERAL DIRECTOR & EMBALMER.
LANGUAGE: English & Spanish (preferred).
REQUIRED: Must be able to make 1st Calls without assistance at nursing homes and hospitals (up to 250 pounds).
Funeral Director & Embalmer license required for the State of Texas, Provisional Licensee will be considered, and hold a valid driver's license. Traditional duties include making funeral/cremation arrangements, removing human remains, ordering caskets/urns, attending and directing funerals, greeting families, answering the phone, making appointments, dressing and casketing remains, using the TxEver system, embalming, and transporting human remains to other funeral homes, crematory, and airport. Other common duties include cleaning the building, washing the vehicles, and taking out the trash.
