Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate various types of vehicles to transport passengers or goods safely and efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to all safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle buses, limousines, school buses, or paratransit vehicles to transport passengers or cargo across designated routes.
- Deliver goods or packages promptly while ensuring proper handling and secure loading/unloading procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage, and inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, passengers, or clients regarding schedules, delays, or route changes.
- Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports.
Skills
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services.
- Valid Non-Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type operated.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with passengers and team members.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and identify mechanical issues early.
- Experience in paratransit or school bus driving is highly desirable.
