Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development in infants
- Provide attentive care that supports infants’ physical needs, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines
- Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones regularly
- Foster positive interactions with children to promote social-emotional growth and secure attachments
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's development and address any concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid procedures when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities
- Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and caregivers
- Passion for nurturing young children’s growth through engaging activities and attentive care
