Job Summary:
Laramie Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our exciting and fast paced team! The Housekeeping Assistant is an internal, higher level than a floor housekeeper; they serve as an internal, higher-level role within the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will host meetings when the manager is unavailable, assist with the schedule and fill gaps as needed, and will be cross trained in housekeeping and laundry to support the team.
Essential Functions:
Follows and completes cleaning schedules
Observes proper infection control standards
Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
Maintains equipment used in performing duties
Acts as a Mandatory Reporter
Qualifications:
Ability to take initiative and show good judgment
Demonstrates organizational skills
Work independently and as a team member
Displays a positive attitude, and dependability
Willingness and ability to learn quickly
