Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner Janitorial Worker to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window washing, and surface sanitization to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-kept flooring.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects, including deep cleans of large areas or specialized spaces requiring detailed attention.
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and maintenance activities for accountability and inventory management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services or related fields with a focus on commercial or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
- Familiarity with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, and industrial scrubbers safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
