Draft pleadings, petitions, motions, correspondence, and discovery documents for probate, trust administration, and trust litigation matters.
Manage case files, calendaring, court filings, and deadlines from inception through resolution.
Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties to facilitate case progression.
Review and summarize records, conduct legal research, and assist with hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
Provide direct support to attorneys in all aspects of trust, estate, and probate matters.
3+ years of Paralegal experience in Probate, Trust Administration, Estate Planning, Trust Litigation, or related practice areas.
Must qualify as a Paralegal under California Business & Professions Code §6450 and be current on all continuing education requirements.
Experience drafting probate petitions, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Knowledge of California probate court procedures, filings, and calendaring requirements.
Ability to independently manage matters, prioritize deadlines, and work directly with attorneys and clients.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, court e-filing systems, and legal case management software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and client service orientation.
