Responsibilities:
As the Human Resource Manager, you will be expected to:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain the best talent.
3. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
4. Assess training needs, develop and monitor training programs.
5. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
6. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
7. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
8. Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining high levels of employee engagement.
9. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
10. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, and ensure all employees understand and comply with these.
11. Implement and manage HRIS systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data is maintained.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Human Resource Manager role should possess the following:
1. Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive in the manufacturing industry.
2. People-oriented and results-driven with an ability to manage a diverse workforce.
3. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and HRIS systems.
4. In-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and best practices.
5. Proven ability to implement organizational development strategies and workforce planning.
6. Strong experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
7. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
8. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
9. Proficient in strategic planning and project management.
10. Degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification will be a plus.
