Title: Controls Engineer
Duration :12+ Months (Possible extension )
Work Location: Hybrid / Tonawanda, NY 14207
Mon-Friday. Will have to possibly work 40hrs to 50hrs week.
Initially 1st Shift. May transition to 2nd or 3rd Shift after 1 year
Expectation is 2-3 weekend shifts per month.
Top Skills:
1. PLC Troubleshooting & Controls Systems Expertise
- Strong troubleshooting experience with Siemens PLCs and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell controls
- Ability to read, interpret, and diagnose PLC logic, automation faults, and production equipment issues
- Experience supporting HMIs and manufacturing controls systems in a high-volume production environment
2. Industrial Automation & Robotics
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Fanuc Robots/Cobots
- Knowledge of automated material handling systems and robotic integration
- Exposure to automation commissioning, startup support, validation, and production launches
3. Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) & Advanced Manufacturing Technology
- Experience with strong aptitude to support AMRs, fleet management systems, and automated material movement
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, automated logistics, and smart factory initiatives
- Familiarity with systems such as OTTO AMRs, automated forklifts, or similar autonomous technologies is highly desirable
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Years of Experience Required: 2 to 4 years of experience
