Lathrop Community, a retirement community grounded in Quaker values and a commitment to enhancing the experience of aging, has an opening for a per diem technician to join the team that maintains our campuses in Northampton and Easthampton, MA. This position is 4 - 32 hours a week, at $21-23/hour. The hours you will work each week are dependent on the schedule of the full-time team members and the needs of Lathrop, as well as your own availability.
You will be a key part of a central department at Lathrop, you will form relationships with staff, residents, and vendors while using and building upon your technical skills to improve and maintain the physical environment for all community members.
What you’ll bring:
- Basic working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electricity,
- Interior and exterior painting skills
- Safe use of power tools
- Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to our insurance company
