Duties
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, horizontal drills, tankers, and paving machines with precision and safety.
- Lead and mentor other equipment operators on-site to promote best practices and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition; perform routine maintenance checks.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to plan equipment usage schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies; address any hazards or unsafe behaviors immediately.
- Assist in site setup and cleanup activities as needed; support logistical operations such as material hauling and site preparation.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and operational reports for accountability and efficiency tracking.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean driving record and must be insurable.
- No DUI convictions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical/medical examination and meet all medical certification requirements.
- Must successfully complete any required medical screenings.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to operate equipment in compliance with all regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
