Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Processor to join our team in the insurance data processing sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in processing insurance policy changes, claims, and billing issues. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency using data management systems.
Duties
- Reviews the downloads of new policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy, update agency management system accordingly applications efficiently while adhering to company policies.
- Work with Account Managers to correct or amend coverage changes if policy data is inaccurate and and follow up on requests.
- Responsible for downloads, system audits within their area of expertise and other assigned projects
- Ensures legal compliance by following company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with in-house agents throughout the policy/change processing cycle.
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to work independently, self manage priorities and workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and downloads.
- Technologically savvy, must be able to work with multiple carrier systems and our agency management system
- Must be proficient in typing on a computer keyboard
- Must have the ability to compose original correspondence, have effective interaction with co-workers through written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work at a computer station for long periods of time
- Helpful, positive attitude while working in a faced paced environment
- Must be quality focused and have great attention to detail
- Prior work experience in the insurance industry and have a basic knowledge of insurance
- Work on site in the agency Monday-Friday from 8 am - 5 pm
- Proficient in using relevant software applications for document management and processing.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
