Please note that this is not a guaranteed full-time position. Most of our client cases are part-time or per diem, and available hours depend on current client needs, your availability, and your willingness to travel to cases in and around Salem County.

Key Responsibilities
As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will provide personalized care and support in clients’ homes. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Preparing meals and supporting proper nutrition
- Providing mobility assistance, including transfers, walking, and stairs
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Performing light housekeeping, including laundry, linens, and general tidying
- Cleaning and organizing bathrooms and living spaces
- Helping reduce fall risks and other safety hazards
- Following the client’s care plan and promptly reporting changes or concerns
- Maintaining professional and respectful communication with clients, families, and the Home Helpers team
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass a Level II background check and drug screening
- Valid government-issued photo ID or driver’s license
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Current one-step PPD test completed within the past year
- Reliable transportation to client homes in and around [LOCATION]
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude
Schedule and Case Availability
- Part-time
- Per diem
- Day, evening, overnight, and weekend cases may be available
- Hours and schedules vary based on client needs
- Full-time hours are not guaranteed
- Caregivers may be offered cases that match their availability, qualifications, and travel preferences
