Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of laboratory tests using techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography (gas chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography), microscopy, and biochemistry assays.
- Perform wet chemistry analyses following established protocols to verify product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments including spectrophotometers, microscopes, and chromatography systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of all experiments, test results, and calibration activities using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Adhere strictly to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other quality standards during all testing procedures.
- Support microbiological and biochemistry testing processes for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Assist in troubleshooting analytical methods, preparing reagents, and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure consistent accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven laboratory experience with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, microscopy, and microbiology.
- Familiarity with GLP standards, FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and quality control procedures.
- Hands-on experience operating laboratory instruments including spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, HPLC systems, microscopes, and other analytical tools.
- Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to perform calibration procedures accurately and maintain detailed documentation of all activities.
- Strong understanding of biochemistry principles and microbiological testing methods.
