Overview:
Per Diem position. Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm.
Supports the audiology clinical program through participation in patient care. Primarily performs newborn hearing screenings in the newborn nursery and the neonatal intensive care unit during the weekends and holidays. Completes otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing and automated auditory brainstem response testing (AABR), chart review, documentation of results, and communication with other providers on the patient’s care team. Occasionally assists the Audiology team at The Oaks with with audiology service interventions for pediatric through geriatric populations. Prepares equipment and supplies and assists with clerical activities as assigned.

Bachelor's degree and a student enrolled in the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program
