We are seeking a motivated Contracts Negotiator to join our Government Contracts team. This role will support contract lifecycle activities for U.S. Government defense programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and performance.
Duties:
· Interface with government and prime customers on routine contractual matters.
· Review and analyze RFPs/RFQs for compliance and risk; prepare proposal documentation and pricing support.
· Negotiate contract terms and conditions under supervision, including delivery schedules.
· Support Cost or Pricing Data (Truthful Cost or Pricing Data statute; formerly TINA) requirements, sweeps, and certifications; coordinate fact-finding and DCAA/DCMA interactions.
· Review contract modifications and maintain accurate records.
· Assist with contract closeout and reporting requirements.
· Guide internal stakeholders on contractual interpretation, risk posture, and change management.
Must Haves
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
· 3-7 years of government contracting experience, specifically Department of Defense (Department of War)
· Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, TINA
· Must be a U.S. Citizen
· Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
