At Alliance Trade Services, we expect our Commercial HVAC Service and Install Technician to be a leader and an example to the field members who repair, install and provide HVAC maintenance and install or residential and commercial clients including Multi-family complexes.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Service and Install Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive approach to service delivery, ensuring high-quality standards in all installations and repairs while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial settings.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for system repairs or modifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Colaborate with team members to build efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance.
- Position may require working extended hours including evenings and weekends
- Provide assistance on various other maintenance and repair projects as assigned
- Maintain thorough documentation of all installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Train junior and mid-level technicians to help them grow within the company
Experience
- Proven experience as a Leading or Senior Service Technician in the HVAC industry is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in installation and repair of HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with design principles related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Experience reading schematics and blueprints is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- HVAC certification is required
- 5 + years of residential or commercial HVAC technician experience
- Valid driver’s license, pre-hire drug screen required and ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Minimum Requirements and Experience
- Using logic and experience to solve problems
- A tendency to work in the technical field
- Superior sales and customer service skills
- Some post education from college, trade school or other
- Prove an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the plumbing trade
- Understand the Greater Phoenix market
- Clean, neat and professional appearance
- Positive attitude and one who takes pride in workmanship
- Able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays if required
