Exeter West Greenwich Schools is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of 1.0 Business & Media Technology Teacher.Our department is committed to providing students with engaging, hands-on, project-based learning experiences that develop real-world skills and prepare them for college, careers, and lifelong success.The ideal candidate will have experience teaching accounting. Additional expertise in stocks and investing, marketing, graphic design, computing, and other business or technology-related fields is preferred. Candidates should possess strong technology skills, relevant certifications, and a passion for creating authentic learning experiences that help students develop practical workplace and financial literacy skills. Also the ability to teach a variety of business courses, including but not limited to Financial Literacy, Marketing (Social Media; Sports), Entrepreneurship, and Stock Market.We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who values innovation, collaboration, and student-centered instruction and is committed to preparing students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing economy.Additionally, the chosen teacher must have strong technology skills, and may be assigned to teach an introductory computer science course, a graduation requirement for all students at the Senior High School.
Additional technology-related courses (such as graphic design) are offered in the school and may be assigned based on the candidates skillset (or willingness to build the required skillset). Full time teachers teach 3 credits per semester plus advisory.
