We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide personal assistance to an older adult in their home. The right candidate must be organized, compassionate and dedicated to making this person's life better. The Personal Care Assistant will be responsible for helping this person carry out the activities of daily living, including getting dressed and undressed and helping with meal preparation and housekeeping.
The Personal Care Assistant will also be required to run errands and take part in social activities with this person, such as going to the movies or out to dinner with other care professionals.
The Personal Care Assistant will work closely with our team of care professionals, as well as with this individual's family, to ensure all needs are met and preferences are accommodated.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic care to your patients.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming.
- Assist patients with positioning, exercise and range of motion exercises.,Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Provide care for infants, children, the elderly and disabled people.
- Manage the patient's health plan.
- Manage other caregivers.
- Communicate with the primary care provider to coordinate services for patients.
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $20.00 per hour
