Position Summary:
The Welder works in a fast-paced, results-oriented production environment and is responsible for reporting on a variety of items, including garbage, recycling, yard waste containers, vehicle assemblies, and facility components.
Your Role:

Repairs, modifies, or fabricates a variety of metal work,k including waste containers, vehicle assemblies, and facility components.

Cuts, fits, and welds using gas and electric equipment.

Performs skilled brazing and soldering.
-
Uses a variety of machines and equipment in and out of repair areas.

May operate heavy equipment as needed.

Takes an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.

Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.

Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.

Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
Your Skills:
- Knowledge of tools and methods of gas and electric welding

Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

Ability to take and understand oral instructions.

Reliability and dependability.
Requirements:

At least one year of welding, fabrication, and painting experience
-
Knowledge of and appreciation for safe work habits
-
Forklift experience
-
Valid driver's license
-
Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.
