Duties
- Greet guests with a welcoming attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and process transactions in a timely manner.
- Understand the specials of the day, and know the menu well.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed during service and food handling
- Assist with side work, opening duties, and closing duties.
- Work with the kitchen crew efficiently.
- Follow the uniform code and arrive on time.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Answer phones quickly and accurately.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience in a fast-paced environment is good, but not necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus for supporting overall restaurant operations
