POSITION SUMMARY
Mayesh Specialty Market Team is seeking a dependable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate. This dual-role position is crucial to facilitate our local customer deliveries, regional flower farm pickups, and efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring timely product transportation, maintaining product quality, and assisting with various warehouse and distribution functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Delivery & Driving:
· Safely operate and drive assigned delivery vehicles (under 26,000 lbs. GVW) on planned routes for timely product pick-ups and deliveries.
· Transport pallet goods and fresh floral products on carts, ensuring contents are properly secured to prevent damage.
· Handle and unload goods efficiently at destinations, completing receiving checklist to ensure all product is received and loaded.
· Map delivery routes using GPS and other routing systems.
· Communicate traffic reports and delays to SMFP Team Lead as needed.
· Perform pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring cleanliness and reporting any maintenance issues.
· Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs, tracking working hours, and adhering to all company and ODOT regulations.
· Always prioritize safety.
Warehouse & Product Handling:
· Assist with warehouse functions, including packing, shipping, receiving, and loading/unloading trucks.
· Receive product from trucks and local vendors.
· Help to organize the cooler for efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
· Ensure quality control, product maintenance, and proper rotation of floral products.
· Produce and pack retail-ready consumer bunches and value-added floral products.
· Build pallets for customer orders according to Mayesh specifications.
· Help consolidate and ship floral products for local bouquet production.
Organize and distribute supplies (buckets, sleeves, shipping boxes, tags).
· Assist with monthly inventory counts and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Help to stage inbound and outbound shipments and communicate any quantity or quality issues to the supervisor.
· Prepare for the next day's operations by organizing supplies and ensuring a clean work area.

Employees must be able to perform all essential job duties safely and without impairment at all times.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
· Valid driver's license (required); Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus.
· Clean driving record with no moving violations (required).
· Must pass a background check and drug test.
· Experience driving a large company van or truck is preferred.
· Skilled and confident driver, comfortable maneuvering and parking large vehicles.
· Alert, focused, and detail-oriented with an innate sense of direction.
· Physically and mentally fit, with the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to stand, walk, crouch, or kneel for extended periods.
· Experience using hand trucks and electric lifts.
· Excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills.
· Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
· Flexible schedule, with the ability to work up to 12 hours if needed (typical schedule 6:00 am – 2:30 pm).
· Strong teamwork, organization, and time management skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· This position is based in a warehouse setting when not driving.
· Will load shipments in an agricultural environment and be exposed to various weather conditions.
· Involves long periods of standing, frequent stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
· Will work inside a cooler or refrigerated truck with temperatures ranging between 32- and 45-degrees Fahrenheit.
· Routinely uses warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and heavy equipment.
· Requires the use of sharp tools such as knives and cutters.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
