Steadfast Electric is growing and looking for experienced Commercial New Construction Electricians to join our team in the greater Indianapolis area. What You’ll Do
- Install electrical systems for commercial new construction projects (retail, office, industrial, and similar facilities).
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics to plan and lay out work.
- Run conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC), pull wire, and install panels, fixtures, devices, and related equipment.
- Perform terminations in panels, transformers, disconnects, and other electrical components.
- Ensure all work meets current NEC requirements and local codes.
- Work closely with project managers, foremen, general contractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field to keep jobs moving.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and company tools/vehicles.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements at all times.
What You Bring
- Experience as a Commercial Electrician on new construction projects (apprentice to journeyman levels considered).
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation, code requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, one-line diagrams, and written specifications.
- Solid conduit bending, wire pulling, and termination skills.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Indianapolis area.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant state electrical license or registration preferred (if applicable).
