Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through purposeful play and hands-on learning experiences.
- Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and classroom activities.
- Maintain active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with Primrose and state licensing standards.
- Complete daily classroom documentation and family communication.
- Collaborate with school leadership and teaching teams to provide an exceptional educational experience.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience working with young children preferred.
- CDA, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for early childhood education.
