Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee the daily operations of our resort. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. As the face of the hotel, you will drive revenue growth, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Duties
- Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
- Lead and supervise staff to ensure outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue management, pricing, and occupancy optimization
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling
- Maintain budget control by monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards
- Handle guest relations issues promptly to resolve complaints and enhance guest loyalty
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at day’s end
- Coordinate with marketing teams to promote hotel amenities and special events
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to communicate effectively with guests and staff
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in hospitality management or hotel operations
- Extensive hotel experience with a strong understanding of front desk procedures, guest services, and resort management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of revenue management strategies and budgeting processes in the hospitality industry
- Experience in human resources functions such as hiring, training, and employee relations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively
- Familiarity with hospitality management software systems and multi-line phone systems
