General Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automation and Control Technicianto ensure the optimal functioning of all equipment and machines at our facility. Automation and Control Technician install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and parts. This position requires extensive knowledge of PLC, Scada and electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. They must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.
The work of Automation and Control Technician can often be physically demanding to install and repair equipment, they may need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time. They must also be able to operate tools near electrical components.
Must be able to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions. Motivated to work on their own and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are a required part of this position.

Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
· Develop, program, and configure PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
· Create and maintain control logic, HMI screens, and communication protocols.
· Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical industrial and facilities equipment
· Develop and maintain control system designs, schematics, and BOMs, using CMSE Standards
· Performing scheduled inspections, servicing, and testing of equipment, PM
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
· Read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
· Troubleshooting malfunctions
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
· Work overtime as needed
· Perform and approve shock & arc flash risk assessments
· Perform and approve LOTO permits
Previous Experience:
· Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFP79, and OSHA safety practices
· Experience in A/C 120/208/480 Volts D/C 12/24 Volts
· Preferred Experience: Wiring electrical enclosures as per schematic
· 3+ years of experience in PLC and SCADA programming and troubleshooting.
· Proficiency in PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and SCADA software (Wonderware).
Educational Qualifications:
· Required: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· Preferred: Electrical Technology or Engineering Degree
· Required: Electrical Safety & Arc Flash Training
· Preferred: Electrical Certifications demonstrating ability to perform Hand-On maintenance

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
